The anxiously awaited 2010 vintage of the Il Poggione Brunello di Montalcino has received its first score!
James Suckling rates the 2010 Brunello 93 points!
Here is his review:
Lots of sliced mushroom and berry character. Lots of flowers such as lilacs and violets. Full body, firm tannins and a fresh and clean finish. It's harmonious and beautiful. Drink or hold.
The 2010 Brunello is expected to arrive in US markets by early March.
